We design and govern structured, continuity-based commodity supply programmes and work alongside licensed execution, logistics, and settlement partners to support compliant, repeat transactions.

Hopeland does not take title to goods, does not handle client funds, and does not perform physical execution.

Role Context & Purpose

Business Development Executive is a critical upstream function within Hopelandโ€™s transaction framework.

The Business Development Executive is responsible for identifying and cultivating credible buyer-side relationships suitable for inclusion within Hopeland-governed commodity programmes. The role is focused on access, judgement, and discretion, and does not involve negotiation or execution.

Target Counterparties: Qualified commodity buyers and off-takers, including institutional and high-capacity commercial counterparties (e.g., privately held groups and factory-backed buyers).

Sector Scope (High-Level): Strategic commodities and other products.

All pricing, contracting, settlement, logistics, and execution decisions are handled exclusively by Hopeland and its licensed partners.

Core Responsibilities

Identify and develop relationships with qualified buyer-side counterparties aligned with Hopeland programmes.

Originate high-quality market-access opportunities consistent with Hopelandโ€™s qualification standards.

Facilitate senior-level introductions for internal assessment within Hopelandโ€™s controlled framework.

Support relationship continuity post-introduction, without discussing commercial terms.

Operate with discretion, professionalism, and regulatory awareness at all times.

Commercial Participation (Indicative)

This engagement is performance-linked. Participation arises only where Hopeland confirms that (i) an introduced counterparty meets internal qualification standards, and (ii) a transaction subsequently closes and settles within a Hopeland-governed programme.

Participation is governed exclusively by the formal contractor agreement. Accordingly, commission is payable only on verified deal closure, as defined in the contractor agreement.

Engagement Status

This role is offered strictly on an independent contractor basis and does not create an employment, partnership, agency, or worker relationship.
